Socktober at Stella!
We're celebrating Socktober at Stella Maris – where students and staff wear all kinds of bright, fun and colourful crazy socks to raise money for a worthy cause.
The students' gold coin donations and other school community contributions are going directly to Catholic Mission – helping the organisation provide essential support for key projects in countries right around the world, including remote Australia.
Our students were pleased to be able to help give these communities the opportunity for an enriched life, regardless of race, stigma, religion or gender.
Year 6 student, Caiden, said he enjoyed the chance to wear crazy socks to school and that he was personally making a difference for children around the world through Socktober.
Students and staff were very creative with their socks and enjoyed showing them to each other! Take a look at some of our favourites below.
